Swimming Carnival

The Norwood Swimming Carnival was held on Friday, 13th February, returning to Croydon Memorial Pool — and what an atmosphere it was!

Attendance was fantastic, and I would like to thank everyone who participated throughout the day. A special thank you to the parents and families for your support in ensuring students were prepared and ready for the day.

House colours were proudly on display, with some incredible costumes from our Year 12 students, who once again set the tone for school spirit.

There were some outstanding results in the pool, along with plenty of enthusiastic involvement in the novelty events. The Beach Volleyball in the Leisure Pool was a highlight and enjoyed by all who took part.

Congratulations also to the staff relay team for claiming victory in the first event of the year against the Year 12s — a great way to start 2026!

The day concluded with Kalinda claiming overall victory, while Yarra proudly took home the House Spirit Trophy.
