Aidan Milligan – Texas bound

Congratulations to Year 12 student Aidan Milligan on his outstanding achievement in being selected to represent Australia at the Genuine World Cup 2026 in Houston, Texas.

This international tournament brings together athletes from around the world, celebrating football and inclusion for players with intellectual disabilities, autism, and other neurodiverse conditions. Aidan’s selection is a remarkable honour and a testament to his dedication, skill and passion for the game.

We are incredibly proud of Aidan and wish him all the best as he takes to the world stage—what an amazing opportunity. Go well, Aidan!

Harrison Smith – dancer

Year 10 student Harrison has reached new heights in the dance world – selected for Team WA at the Australian Dance Festival 2026 in Sydney. Chosen from hundreds of applicants across the state, this is a fantastic recognition of Harrison’s talent, dedication and hard work.

Well-known within our school community for his outstanding performance skills, Harrison will join a team of elite WA dancers to perform in a high-energy, professionally choreographed routine at Olympic Park. You can also catch Harrison showcasing his talent closer to home as a dance soloist in our upcoming school production of Mamma Mia!.

Zara, Sophie and Jade - puzzle powerhouses

There’s no end to the talents of this trio – with our three Year 12 student leaders—Zara Moesker, Sophie Gardner and Jade Fletcher — powering to glory at the WA State Jigsaw Puzzle Competition.

Competing against more than 120 teams and over 500 participants, the girls demonstrated remarkable teamwork and focus, securing an impressive third place in the team event by completing a challenging 1000-piece puzzle in just 1 hour and 6 minutes.

The accolades didn’t stop there. Zara also excelled individually, taking out FIRST place in the state singles competition —as well as teaming up with her mum, Louise, to claim second place in the pairs competition. 

What a fantastic group of girls — true St George’s Superstars.
