Bike Education
Well done to all of the students from Level 4 who attended the final lesson of the Bike Education program over the last 2 weeks. The final session saw Level 4 students ride down to Ruffey Lake Park by riding on shared paths and local roads, entering via George Street and riding single file to Victoria Street before returning to school. The students have made so much progress since the program started at the middle of Term 2. While we did have interruptions to the program for athletics preparation and inclement weather, the students confidently completed the journey learning about the use of gears and braking as well as bike manoeuvring, road rules and defensive riding.
