Assistant Principal Report

Term 3 has been a rewarding and productive time at Doncaster Primary School. Our students been actively engaged in a wide range of enriching programs, thriving both academically and socially as they continue to grow and learn.
Everest Program – Reaching New Heights
We’ve now completed our Everest lessons for the term! Each Thursday afternoon, students in Years 3–6 engaged in enriching sessions focused on critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration. A big thank you to Mr Sam O’Bryan, Mrs Vanessa Keen, Ms Michaela George, Mr Anthony Kelly, and Ms Rana El Bay for leading and coordinating this inspiring school program. It’s a great reflection of our commitment to helping every student reach their potential.
Police Visit Inspires Safety Awareness at School
This week, our students welcomed Constable Sarah from Victoria Police. After exploring a real police car—complete with flashing lights and sirens—she led an engaging session on online safety. Students learned how to make smart choices online, what to share, who to trust and how to respond to unsafe situations. A fun and informative visit that left a lasting impression!
Her message was clear: staying safe online is just as important as staying safe in the real world.
Teachers vs Students Netball Match – End of Term Fun!
A netball match between teachers and students was a fantastic way to wrap up the term! With plenty of laughter, teamwork and friendly competition, the game brought our school community together in the best way. It was wonderful to see students and staff sharing the court, showing great sportsmanship, and celebrating the spirit of connection and fun.
A perfect end to a great term!
Have an enjoyable term break with your family & friends. I look forward to seeing you all in term 4.
