Music Room Update

It's official - Grade 1 and 2 students are Garage Band obsessed!! This fortnight the students have had a blast creating cool beats. Garage Band can be found on Apple products, most of the time they come preloaded with the app. We’ve just been scraping the surface with the app and exploring different sounds and instruments but we have had such a great time!!

Prep students have enjoyed listening to classical music whilst helping create a 'field' of flowers to add to our Waltz of the Flowers wall. The Prep students have also enjoyed exploring Chrome Music Lab. The room has been bustling with fabulous teamwork, laughter and smiles.

In the Japanese room...

The Grade Prep students have had such a fabulous first semester in the Japanese room. We are so proud of how well they are counting from 1-10 in Japanese. They have also started to learn some of the colours in Japanese, so clever!!!! Click on the attachment below to see some of our fabulous Prep students sharing their counting skills with the grade.
