At Skye Primary School, student voice and choice are at the heart of our INSPIRE Program—a much-loved initiative that gives students the chance to explore their passions or discover something new. Held fortnightly on Friday afternoons, INSPIRE offers a diverse range of interest-based activities such as Lego, Yoga, Journaling, Flag Footy, Creative Crafternoons, and Kitchen Garden—each led by a teacher who brings their own enthusiasm and expertise to the session.
More than just a fun break from routine, INSPIRE supports student engagement by encouraging creativity, curiosity, and confidence. It allows students to work alongside peers from different year levels, strengthening connections across the school and fostering a greater sense of community. Whether a student is continuing a known interest or taking a brave step into something unfamiliar, the INSPIRE Program empowers them to follow their passions and feel seen, heard, and valued in their learning journey.
