Family Engagement

Thank you to the children, parents and grandparents who have joined me during Term 2 for Storytime on a Monday afternoon at 2:30 pm in my Learning Space. It has been a wonderful opportunity to have a play, read a story, create something crafty, borrow a couple of books to take home and most importantly to make connections with each other.

This term we have read a wide variety of picture story books including: Kindness Makes Us Stronger, Mama Bear and Me, How to catch a Star, If I had a Dinosaur, There’s a Unicorn stuck in my book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, If I were King and Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller. Together we have created library bags, made gifts for Mother’s Day, decorated wooden stars, dinosaurs and kangaroo shapes, created a colourful unicorn, made colourful butterflies and decorated a paper crown.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone in Term 3 beginning Monday 13th July at 2:30 pm.

Have a wonderful break and thanks for your support especially while I have had my arm in plaster.
