YEAR 10 MONOCHROMATIC (One Colour) PAINTINGS

Year 10 Contemporary Art students have completed a colourful collection of monochromatic geometric paintings.

Inspired by modern artists, students sought to showcase their understanding of colour, applying tones, tints, and shades. They also explored shape and composition while developing their use of hard-edge style brushwork and acrylic paint. Students framed their work with complimentary colours. Each evaluated their work and wrote an artist statement.
