Year 10 Outdoor Education 

Royal Botanical Gardens & Hardrock Climbing

The Year 10 Outdoor Education class participated in an Indigenous Education session at the Royal Botanical Gardens.  Student learned about the history of the area, the use of plants in indigenous culture and relationships with the outdoor environments.  Students also engaged in a session at Hardrock Indoor Rock-climbing session.  Students demonstrated excellent teamwork and communication skills while developing their climbing skills.

Year 10 Outdoor Education - Mornington Peninsula Overnight Hike

The Year 10 class participated in an overnight hike on Thursday and Friday of week 10.   Students were responsible for planning their meals and navigating throughout the hike.  Students were outstanding in their preparation, teamwork and resilience throughout the entire journey from Cape Schanck to Lightwood Creek return.
