International Student Program: Term 3 Highlights
Term 3 has been incredibly busy but so rewarding for our International Student Program. Alongside our day-to-day focus on keeping up with attendance, pushing ahead with academics, and checking in on everyone’s well-being, we also had a fantastic time celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival. To ensure our students felt the warmth of home while studying abroad, our program prepared traditional mooncakes to every international student.
I visited two of our language schools to get next year’s subject selections all sorted for the students there and brought along mooncakes to give them a warm welcome from our college.
We’ve also loved seeing our international students engaging into school life. A massive shout-out goes to Wendy Wang (Year 9), who did an amazing job performing in the school’s music production! She also teamed up with some local students to form a band and performed on the stage. Wendy's energy and effort to connect with the local community have set an incredible example, inspiring other international students to get involved too. We are so proud of all our students this term and can’t wait to see them continue to shine and show off their unique talents in the future!
