Reconciliation

Our candidates have now had three sessions in preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The children have been very enthusiastic in their learning and are preparing well. The first Presentation Mass for our children is this Sunday at 9am and we encourage all families in the choir to join us for the 9am Mass and to support our candidates and their families. There will be another presentation Mass the following Saturday 6th September at 5pm. All are welcome.

Feast of the Assumption Mass.

Thank you too all the families who joined us for the Feast of Assumption Mass last Friday celebrated with Sacred Heart College. This will now be an annual event on our school calendar.

Staff Spirituality Day

Last Wednesday the whole staff joined here at school for a day of spirituality and renewal. Presented by the CES we were able to take part in workshops relating to some of our Saints including St Francis of Assisi, St Claire of Assisi, Mother Teresa and St Julian.

These workshops provided an opportunity for learning but also ways to put that learning into practice. The Rosie Cullen Foundation also provided our lunch ,which was an impressive spread.
