Buongiorno a tutti!

Some serious progress going on in Italian this term.  So many students have definitely come back from the mid-year holidays with their "ready to learn more!" attitude.  

One of my favorite things to see and hear with the 4's, 5's and 6's is when I give them a new chapter of our comic Avanti or a dialogue of sorts and they "sight read" it.  Their very first time seeing that dialogue as a story. And without any help from me, to listen to them having a go at reading it is so great! Rewarding for me and for them! And then when they make sense of what's going on in the story using their prior knowledge of Italian is so wonderful!  They are very, very switched on.
