Week 6 - Learning conversations
Literacy –
This week we will complete our unit on learning about convict settlement in Australia. We have loved learning about the industrial revolution, how many people became convicts after committing what we would consider minor crimes, and what their lives were like living in chains. We have looked at the impacts that early settlement had on our First Nations and the environment around them.
Maths -
Students have worked on estimating, constructing and measuring angles in degrees using a protractor. They came into the unit being champions around identifying the names of angles and comparing them to right angles.
Flying Fruit Fly Circus –
On Monday the students had a ball at our excursion!
