Year 10 Outdoor Education Trip to Mt Stirling

Year 10 Outdoor Education Trip to Mt Stirling

Our Year 10 Outdoor Education class recently embarked on an adventurous hiking and camping trip to Mt Stirling in the Victorian Alps. The three-day expedition was filled with learning experiences, building outdoor skills around hiking and camping. Students faced some challenging weather, including a torrential downpour on the first night and extremely cold temperatures overnight. To ensure comfort and safety, the group made the decision to camp lower down the mountain, allowing for more comfortable conditions and a better night's sleep.

Despite the tough conditions, our students demonstrated remarkable perseverance and maintained a positive attitude throughout the trip. They worked collaboratively to overcome obstacles, fostering a sense of teamwork and resilience.
