Year 7 Acrylic Painting Task
Year 7 have done a fantastic job on their acrylic paintings, each one featuring a unique mask design inspired by nature and or the city. The creativity and effort shown in blending these themes into their artwork is truly impressive. Well done to all students for their hard work and imagination.

Year 8 Appropriated Artworks
This term, Year 8 students explored the idea of appropriation in art by reinterpreting famous works from 20th-century movements. Using acrylic paint and a variety of techniques, students developed their own creative responses while learning how artists build on ideas from the past.
They followed a structured process; researching, sketching, and annotating their ideas, before creating their final artworks. The task built on their knowledge from earlier in the year and gave them the chance to experiment, reflect, and make something uniquely their own.
See if you can spot the iconic artworks behind their bold new versions!

Year 11 Visual Communication Design
In U1O3 VCD, students have been studying juicers through human-centred research. They have focused on understanding the unique needs of their chosen end users and observed how these users interact with existing juicers. Students have identified pain points through observational drawings and product testing, gaining insights that inform thoughtful and inclusive design solutions.
