Free NSEC HSC Masterclass Workshops-Term 3

Year 12 students (+ Year 11 Accelerated Business Studies) are invited to take advantage of 20 FREE HSC Masterclass Workshops running throughout Term 3, Weeks 6–9.

Epping Boys High School is a member of the Northern Sydney Educational Community (NSEC), a collaborative network of local secondary schools working together to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.

Each year, HSC experts, experienced teachers and school leaders from across the NSEC community facilitate a series of free, subject-specific HSC Masterclasses designed to help students prepare for their final examinations.

The workshops provide students with opportunities to:

  • revise common HSC content and key concepts
  • access tailored subject-specific resources
  • complete timed examination practice and receive live feedback
  • gain expert advice and insights from experienced HSC markers.

The workshops have been highly successful, with student attendance increasing by 36.2% in 2025 compared with 2024. Additionally, 97.1% of participating students highly recommended the workshops to future Year 12 students.

2026 Masterclasses

This year, 20 free workshops will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams, running Monday to Friday from 4.00–5.30pm, 24 August to 18 September 2026.

The 2026 Masterclass workshops will focus on common content in the following HSC subjects: English Advanced and Standard, Business Studies, Chemistry, Biology, Society and Culture, Music 1 and 2, Mathematics Advanced, Mathematics Standard, Design and Technology, Physics, Health and Movement Science, Community and Family Studies, Economics, Legal Studies, Modern History, Visual Arts, Mathematics Extension 1, Ancient History, English Extension 1, and Engineering Studies.

Year 12 students are encouraged to:

  • join the NSEC HSC Masterclass 2026 Google Classroom (students have already been invited to join)
  • check the Masterclass timetable and add relevant sessions to their personal calendars
  • reflect on their Trial HSC experience and identify questions or areas they would like to strengthen.
  •

These workshops are a valuable opportunity for students to learn from experienced HSC educators, practise examination skills and strengthen their preparation for the HSC.

We strongly encourage all Year 12 students to make the most of this free opportunity.

For further information, students can speak with their classroom teacher or access the NSEC HSC Masterclass Google Classroom.
