Trial examination preparation has been completed for our Year 12 students, providing a valuable opportunity to experience HSC- stye examinations under authentic conditions. A sincere thank you to all of our Senior Teachers for their dedication and commitment in supporting our students throughout this important period. In particular, we acknowledge Mrs Abram for highly valued Comprehension workshops for Advanced and Standard English students, Ms Hoy for her engaging Elliot workshop for Advanced English students, and Mr Argigou for his ongoing support and expertise in preparing students for success. Their generosity in providing additional learning opportunities has been greatly appreciated by both students and staff.

Our Year 8 students recently enjoyed an engaging performance of A Play on Shakespeare by the Australian Shakespeare Company. Through dynamic performances of key scenes from A Midsummer Night's Dream, Macbeth, and Romeo and Juliet, students were able to see Shakespeare's works come to life. Several of our students also had the opportunity to join the cast on stage, making for an interactive and memorable learning experience that deepened their understanding and appreciation of these classic texts.

Our Year 10 students were also treated to a performance of Romeo and Juliet by the Australian Shakespeare Company. A highlight of the performance was Aydan L's outstanding portrayal of Benvolio when invited to perform alongside the professional actors. His performance drew glowing praise from the cast, with one actor commenting that he "was like a professional actor," while another remarked, "It felt like I was really in it with him—he was incredible." Congratulations to Aydan on representing the school so confidently and showcasing his talent on stage.
