Italian News

Buongiorno a tutti
ALL students have come into Italian positively and ready to learn. We've had some very enjoyable lessons.
I've sent home with Grades 3-6 an "Italiano a casa!" sheet with 4 common questions asked in conversation (in Italian of course). Students learn these in Grade Prep and its revised frequently. However, the aim is to be able to ask and answer these questions with confidence OUTSIDE of the Italian classroom environment. I've asked all students to please put this sheet somewhere in their home they will see it often (fridge, bedside table etc.). Thank you for your support.
The Grade 5's are progressing nicely with the Avanti program (how many of you learnt Italian in secondary school and did the Avanti comics? Many of you, I'm sure!). It's a great program and the students are always keen to move on to the next chapter. But as they know, each chapter has a lot of work that goes along with it!
Con amore e musica! Ci vediamo!
