Recognising Day for Daniel Friday 31st October – A Commitment to Student Safety
Next week, our school proudly recognises Day for Daniel, a national day of action dedicated to promoting child safety and honouring the memory of Daniel Morcombe. This important day serves as a powerful reminder of the role we all play in keeping children safe.
During the week, our students will engage in age-appropriate classroom activities and discussions focused on personal safety, awareness, and empowerment. From learning how to identify safe adults to understanding the importance of speaking up, our goal is to equip every child with the knowledge and confidence to protect themselves.
On Friday the 31st of October we invite our students to come to school wearing a touch of red.
We thank our staff, students, and families for supporting this initiative and helping to create a community where safety is a shared responsibility. Together, we stand for a safer future for all children.
