Student Voice Team 2026 – Building Belonging and School Pride
The Student Voice Team is excited to begin 2026 with a clear focus: helping make our school a welcoming, inclusive and positive place for every student. As student leaders, we are committed to ensuring that all members of our community feel valued, respected and proud to belong.
This year, we are working towards strengthening school spirit in ways that bring people together - across year groups and friendship circles. Whether it’s through whole-school events, spirit or fundraising days, lunchtime activities or celebrating student achievements, our goal is to create more opportunities for connection and participation.
An important part of our role is representing the student body in conversations with Senior Executive staff. We have been providing student feedback when planning whole-school events and initiatives, ensuring that decisions reflect student voice and perspectives. We are also contributing to discussions around important issues such as attendance, engagement and overall student wellbeing. Our aim is to be a genuine link between students and staff, helping ensure that student experiences are heard and considered.
We want every student to feel that their voice matters. Throughout the year, we will be seeking feedback and ideas so that initiatives truly reflect what students want to see in our school community. Building a strong school culture is something we all share responsibility for, and even small actions - showing kindness, encouraging others, getting involved - make a big difference.
Alongside this, we look forward to leading fundraising initiatives for meaningful causes. Supporting our wider community is something we value deeply, and we are proud of the generosity our school shows year after year.
