Careers and Transition
Goals + Knowledge + Skills = Success
It has been a busy start to 2026, and we are excited to continue working with all students as they discover and explore their future pathways.
There are many opportunities available this year, and the best place to stay up to date with current offerings is via the Year Group Microsoft Teams pages in the Careers channel. All students in Years 10, 11 and 12 have access to these pages.
This platform is updated regularly, with new courses, training programs and career opportunities posted as they arise. It is important that students check these pages daily to ensure they do not miss valuable opportunities. We also encourage parents to sit with their child and explore the available options together, helping to support informed conversations and decision-making at home.
Whether students are exploring university, TAFE, School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships, apprenticeships, traineeships, or direct entry into the workforce, we are here to support them every step of the way.
A joint initiative of the University of Newcastle and NSW Department of Education, the High Performing Students Program is an opportunity for high school students to try university-level courses while still in high school and upon successful completion, receive credit for future university studies.
Congratulations to Keliana Henry and Maidison Caple who were accepted into the program to study Legal Systems and Method (LAWS1010).
