TAS Faculty

It has been a fantastic start to the year in the TAS Faculty at Francis Greenway High School, with students actively engaging in hands-on learning experiences across Technology subjects.

Our Year 7 students have enthusiastically begun their Technology journey, exploring creative textile techniques through tie-dyeing activities. Students have enjoyed experimenting with colour, pattern and design while developing practical skills and an understanding of the design process.

Year 8 Technology Mandatory classes have been busy in the kitchens undertaking Food and Nutrition studies. Students have been learning about healthy food choices, kitchen safety and food preparation skills, while producing a range of nutritious recipes.

It has been wonderful to see students building confidence, creativity and collaboration skills as they develop essential lifelong capabilities in Technology. We look forward to sharing more of their achievements throughout the year.
