HUMANITIES

The Humanities classes running this term have been learning all about Civil Law and Criminal Law.    We’ve been researching case studies and depicting them; not only have we turned our classrooms into a court at one point with a defendant, the accused, lawyers, judge and jury, but we also been able to recognise the roles in a court room.

MATHS

In Maths we have been learning about Trigonometry, Pythagoras Theorem and SOH-CAH-TOA.   We have been able to understand the formulas to figure out Hypotenuse, Adjacent and Opposite.

ENGLISH

In English we have been studying “Hunt for the Wilderpeople” and starting to study the book “The Outsiders”.

SELF

For SELF, we’ve been doing cohort challenges to strengthen our ability to work together and regulate emotions and talking about mental and physical health.

SCIENCE

For Science we have learnt about The Big Bang Theory, Space, Atoms, Isotopes, Nucleus, Protons, Ions and Radiative and splitting atoms.
