Performing Arts 

Singing performance found voice at two special events this term. 

Choral @ Montsalvat

MGSC is a regular partipant at this afternoon of choir performances held in the historic spaces at Montsalvat Eltham. Under the direction of Vocal Teacher Ms Blanka West the 

All Stars Choir and Madrigal gave exceptional performances. 

The Madrigal featured in a significant event premiering a new work with the composer,  Ai Diem Le, present.  'Return To Me' is a work inspired by the US War Brides Act of 1945 which allowed US servicemen to bring their Japanese brides and children to live with them in Ameria. It's theme is love is stronger than war combining to give a powerful and memorable experience for singers and the audience. 

Vocal Night

Students of voice from Year 7 to 12 performed for family and friends at the recent Semester 1 Vocal Night.  Solos, duos, duets and choirs shone under the direction of their vocal teacher, Ms Blanka West.
