Year 8 Day

Year 8 Day was a fun day for us to reconnect with friends and make some more. Throughout the day we did activities in our groups like building towers out of spaghetti and marshmallows!

My highlight was getting to play bubble soccer and trivia. I hope next year's  Year 8s enjoy it just as much as we did.

Year 8 Day was a day for all the year 8 student to make new friends and meet new people. To start the say we were placed into groups randomly and Year 10 student leaders led some ice breaker activities. 

So we could get to know each other better, we had to make a tower out of raw pasta and marshmallows. We played lots of games like such as Trivia with lots of fun topics like “who has the most TikTok followers in April 2024”. After that we did bubble soccer most people loved it as you got flipped upside down and ran into your friends which was a fun thing. 

We would love to thank Mrs Gratz and Ms Molina for setting it up and all the teachers that helped.
