Cecil World Cup 2026 – Champions Crowned 

The 2026 Cecil World Cup has proven to be one of the most exciting and highly anticipated events on our school calendar. Over the past several weeks, students participated in a series of competitive matches, showcasing outstanding skill, teamwork, determination and sportsmanship. From thrilling goals and dramatic saves to hard-fought victories, the tournament provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate their talent while building positive connections through sport. 

The standard of competition throughout both the Junior and Senior tournaments was exceptional. Students represented their teams with pride and enthusiasm, contributing to a positive and respectful atmosphere both on and off the field. 

After a challenging and entertaining tournament, we congratulate our champions: 

Junior Champions: Defence FC 

Senior Champions: Boki Ack 

Both teams have earned their place through consistent performances, teamwork and resilience throughout the competition. While each team can proudly celebrate being champions of their respective divisions, the excitement is not over yet. The Junior and Senior Champions will now face off in a special Championship Match to determine the overall Cecil World Cup Grand Champions. We look forward to what promises to be a thrilling contest between two outstanding teams. 

A special thank you to all students who participated, as well as the staff, referees and organisers who helped make the tournament such a success. The Cecil World Cup continues to be a wonderful example of school spirit, student engagement and the positive impact of sport within our school community. 

Congratulations once again to all competitors, and good luck to our two champion teams as they prepare for the battle to become the 2026 Cecil World Cup Grand Champions.
