Another wonderful, colourful couple of weeks in the Art Room have passed and students have been exploring line art and colour through water colour painting. Our Junior students (Prep – 2) have been creating bright watercolour backgrounds for their self-portraits which are hanging in the Art Room, bringing it to life. 

The senior classes (3-6) have been diving into the skill of line art using pattern and shape to define and enhance their chosen LPS mascot. Once they were satisfied with their piece, they then used their knowledge of colour and colour blending to create bold, striking backgrounds of their mascots environment. The end results will be displayed so keep and eye out for their wonderful work. 

Our ‘heart of LPS’ display has been finalised and is now hanging in the office area, so if you are wandering through please check it out.
