Year 8 Road Safety Incursion

Some of our Year 8 students recently took part in an engaging and interactive Road Safety Incursion delivered by the Road Safety Commission.

The incursion is designed to introduce young Western Australians to important road safety concepts well before they begin learning to drive. Through practical activities and discussion, students explored the responsibilities of all road users and developed a greater awareness of the choices and behaviours that contribute to keeping themselves and others safe on our roads.

Providing this education at an early age helps students build a strong foundation of road safety knowledge and encourages them to become more informed, responsible and safety-conscious road users as they move towards their learner driver years.

All Year 8 students will have the opportunity to participate in the Road Safety Incursion before the end of the year.
