Foundation

Welcome back to Term 2! It’s been a busy and exciting start, with students diving straight into their learning and enjoying events such as Cross Country and our Responsible Pet Incursion.
Literacy
During our literacy block, we have been learning all about the letters b, h and l. We were also able to enjoy the beautiful weather by practising our handwriting with chalk outside. This term, we have started writing recounts. We began by playing a ‘Find Someone Who’ game and then wrote sentences about our holidays.
Cross Country
On Tuesday, we participated in our first Cross Country at H.E. Parker Reserve. We had so much fun taking part and cheering on our peers. Well done, Foundation students!
Responsible Pet Ownership Incursion
On Wednesday, we had special visitors for our Responsible Pet Ownership Incursion. We learned all about caring for our own pets and how to safely approach dogs in our community.
