Music Update 

Senior School students have hit the semester running with lots of teamwork to create their soundscapes. Each year level are creating soundscapes relating to different things:

• Year 3 students - weather soundscapes
• Year 4 students - scene, setting, environment (sports game, theme park etc)
• Year 5 students - adding sound effects to fairy tales
• Year 6 students - Industrial Revolution

Working in groups requires team work, communication, listening to peers, time management and meeting deadlines. I am looking forward to seeing the soundscapes be performed in the next few weeks.

Concert Update

Our school concert is fast approaching! Students will perform two shows at the Frankston Arts Centre on Tuesday 8th September 12pm and 6pm. Ticket information will be coming out in the next few weeks as will bus permissions too. 

For the matinee performance students will be bussed to and from the Arts Centre for the performance. They will wear their costumes on the buses too.

Information about class costumes has been posted to Sentral so please have a look to familiarise what your child needs to bring to school for their costume.

The Main Cast have been rehearsing on Monday's and Thursday's during lunchtimes. Next week I will be starting reahearsals with the Full Cast. Full Cast coming to rehearsals on Thursday at lunchtime (please bring their script!)and build on that over the coming weeks.
