Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,
It is with mixed feelings that I share some personal news with our school community.
I have accepted an Acting Principal position at Haddon Primary School for Terms 3 and 4, commencing at the beginning of next term. While this is an exciting professional opportunity, it is also a bittersweet moment as I prepare to step away from the school community that has been such an important part of my life for the past eight years.
It has been a privilege to serve as Principal of TRPS. Together, we have built a school community of which we can all be incredibly proud. Our exceptional staff, students, families, and school council have created a culture where every child is known, valued, and supported to achieve success. Through our commitment to an explicit, high-quality curriculum and inclusive teaching practices, our school has become well known for its exemplary teaching, learning and organisational processes.
I would like to sincerely thank all families for the support, trust, and partnership you have shown throughout my time at TRPS. The strong relationships between home and school have been central to our success and have helped make our school such a special place for children to learn and thrive.
To ensure continuity and stability, Missy Kloss will be Acting Principal for the first six weeks of Term 3 while an Expression of Interest process is conducted to appoint an Acting Principal for the remainder of my absence. I have every confidence in Missy’s leadership and know she will continue to support our students, staff, and families with care and professionalism.
While I am looking forward to this new challenge, I will always be grateful for my time at TRPS and for the remarkable community we have built together. Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding during this transition period.
I wish our students, staff, and families every success for the remainder of the year and look forward to hearing about the continued achievements of our wonderful school community.
Kind regards,
Nadia Bettio
Principal
