Welcome Back!

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

Welcome back to another exciting term here at Hampton Park Secondary College! We hope you've had a restful break and are ready to dive back into learning and fun-filled activities.

As always, we have a fantastic team in Freeman that work with our students.

A reminder that students can come and see us in the Freeman House office for help, advice, or just to say hello. They can also email or send a Teams message to a member of the time. Families are more than welcome to get in touch with us if they would like to discuss their child.

To all our new Year 7 students and families, a warm welcome to our school community! Starting high school is a significant milestone, and we are thrilled to have you joining us on this journey of growth, discovery, and achievement. As you go through this new chapter, know that you have a supportive network of teachers, staff, and students here to help you andencourage you every step of the way. For our year 7 families, here at Freeman House Freeman House we are named after the great Australian Indigenous Athlete Cathy Freeman. Cathy Freeman symbolises hard work, perseverance, pride and a sense of community; all qualities we strive for at HPSC. 

One of the most anticipated events of the term is our annual Swimming Carnival, where students from all year levels come together to showcase their swimming prowess, team spirit, and sportsmanship. This year promises to be an exhilarating event, filled with exciting competitions, friendly rivalries, and plenty of opportunities to cheer on your housemates. We encourage all students to participate and make the most of this fantastic day of camaraderie and athleticism. Freeman won the 2023 Swimming Carnival, so let’s try and make it back-to-back. 

At Hampton Park SC, we place great emphasis on upholding our college values of respect, learning, and working together. These values serve as the foundation of our school community and guide us in everything we do. wholeheartedly, striving to be the best versions of ourselves both inside and outside the classroom. Let us approach each day with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and grow. And let us remember that we are all part of a wonderful school community, where we value what you do every day.
