Year 7 Volleyball

Last week. the Year 7 Boys/Mixed and Girls Volleyball teams competed at the Division Finals. It was a great day, and our students represented the college with pride, living our school ARCH values. 

Both teams held themselves well. The Girls teams were very competitive, winning 3/4 pool games and just narrowly finishing a spot in the final, placing 2nd in their pool. 

The Boys were the dominant team, winning 4/5 pool matches to finish top. Unfortunately, a small lapse in concentration in the semi-final saw the game go from 12-14, to 14 all, and with 30 seconds to go, 14-16, knocking the boys out of the competition. 

Both teams should be very proud of their efforts. Thanks to Casey Cesarin and Lui Foloi for the hard work and dedication coaching the teams.
