The Australian Geography Competition ran in May this year and we recently released results to all students.
We had a great participation rate of over 60 students and achieved some fantastic results across the year levels.
Congratulations again to Priscilla Q and Ozan Y for both scoring within the top 1% of participants in the Year 7 level across Australia. Furthermore, we had 11 students achieve high distinctions for their relevant year levels across Years 7-9.
Thank you again to all students who participated, we look forward to next year’s competition!
In week 7, 7E-7I students visited Edendale Farm in Eltham to participate in hands-on learning around our current unit: Water in the World.
Students were able to test the water quality around various stages of the Diamond Creek tributary as well as learn about Edendale’s sustainable strategies to improve water quality.
Students were also able to feed and pet some furry companions on the farm!
