Italian

Ciao!

Foundation students revised Italian numbers and parts of the body through a fun, imaginative activity. Using a dice, they drew an alien and gave it a random number of hands, legs, eyes, noses and mouths. This resulted in some very silly and funny aliens from another planet!

Grade 1 and 2 students have started working on a new role-play. Following last term’s learning about Italian food and the culture surrounding it, this term we are exploring the Italian restaurant experience. During our first week, students began learning how to order food and drinks in Italian, gradually building the foundations for their dialogue.

Grade 3 and 4 students are working on a new role-play: The Italian Real Estate Agent. During the first week, they started designing and creating the house they will try to sell. In the coming weeks, they will learn how to describe their houses in Italian and present them in the best possible way to their potential clients.

Do you remember last year’s Year 5 and 6 Italian Cards? Grade 5 and 6 students are now working on a new edition for 2026! Although both grades have been busy attending their camps, we have already started creating the cards. Hopefully, they will be ready for collection from Week 3!
