Leadership Stars Shine Bright at Cranbourne Secondary College

This term, Cranbourne Secondary College proudly hosted our Leadership Stars event, an initiative developed and led by our Student Representative Council (SRC) to inspire and connect young leaders from across our local community.

We were delighted to welcome student leaders from Cranbourne Primary School, Cranbourne West Primary School, Courtenay Gardens Primary School, Clyde Primary School, and Coral Park Primary School. The event provided students with the opportunity to participate in engaging leadership activities, share ideas and experiences, and build new friendships with fellow student leaders from neighbouring schools.

Throughout the day, students explored the qualities of effective leadership, teamwork, communication, and service, while gaining valuable insights into how they can make a positive impact within their schools and communities.

A special thank you goes to our SRC students, whose vision and commitment brought this event to life. Their efforts were supported by consultant Himal Pillay and staff members, Sarah Caswell and George Massouris, who worked closely with students to organise and deliver a highly successful and enjoyable day for all involved.

At Cranbourne Secondary College, we place great value on the strong partnerships we share with our local primary schools. We recognise that leadership development begins long before students enter secondary school, and opportunities such as Leadership Stars help nurture confidence, aspiration, and a sense of responsibility in young people.

By bringing together future leaders from across our community, we are helping to create connections that extend beyond school boundaries and encouraging students to develop the skills and mindset needed to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

We thank all participating students, staff, and schools for contributing to such a memorable and inspiring event. We look forward to continuing to work together to support the next generation of leaders in our community.
