Introducing Trish Macpherson

Hi, my name is Trish and I've very recently joined the Inclusion Support Team here at Scoresby Secondary College.

Prior to coming to Scoresby Secondary College, I worked as an Integration Aide at Park Ridge Primary School in Rowville across all year levels for 33 years.

Years previous to this, I worked in the Childcare sector from the age of 17. This is where I found my passion and love for working with children with all abilities.

I believe it is a privilege and an honour to support and foster the learning growth of our integrated students. I love and take great pride in my job.

I got married nearly 2 years ago to my husband. We are hardly at home, we're either out on the ocean cruising around and fishing or camping in the High Country or up the Sapphire Coast. We love being outdoors.

My husband has 2 nephews Bailey 22 yrs and Shannon 18 yrs. I have 2 nephews as well, Brodie 21 yrs and Ryan 20 yrs.

My nephew Ryan has A.S.D, he's taught me how to be inclusive, patient and tolerant. I'm very lucky and privileged that he let me into his world.

I love to draw and do calligraphy (self-taught), chocolate and a good coffee too. I build Lego with my husband, we're just big kids, cooking, shoe shopping and Holden and American Muscle Cars. I love a good chat and a belly laugh. I'm also a Collingwood supporter (so please don't hold that against me).

I'm really excited about working at Scoresby Secondary College, especially getting to know everyone better.
