Hobbies & Interests: I can’t get enough of the great outdoors. Hiking, horse riding, gardening and reading.
Currently in my “crazy chicken lady era” and have been slowly hatching and collecting a full heritage variety of hens that lay different coloured eggs! Did you even know that was a thing? My little side quest has been to have a flock that produces a rainbow dozen that I can gift to friends. I currently have 13 hens (please don’t tell my husband) and come spring there will be coloured eggs galore.
Do You Have Any Pets? I sure do. In addition to the previously mentioned ladies, I have two cavoodles Lucy and Brandy and two alpacas Dotti and Marsha. Dotti is our alpha supermodel alpaca who defensively struts around the paddock. Marsha is what we affectionately call our stable dog. She has no sense of personal space and happily curls up in your lap when allowed.
An Interesting Fact About Me: I was once featured on the cover of the Countryman newspaper as the first female student to join cattle club.
Favourite Sport(s) / Team(s): I love playing team sports and enjoy a bit of healthy competition.
Favourite Holiday Destination: Exmouth and Coral Bay WA.
The Best Thing I Love About GSC: Our people, our students and our community. What anchors me to our work here at GSC is seeing the lasting difference we make in our students lives. Every day I observe our caring staff going above and beyond. It’s in those quiet moments of support, encouragement and celebration that we truly help shape brighter futures.
