School Council Report

Who we are - Our current members are listed below and on the school website, and we encourage anyone interested in joining to get in touch.

We have three active sub-committees, with newly expanded roles:

·        Finance

·        Fundraising and Community

·        Education and Policy

We’re always keen to see fresh faces and you are welcome to join a sub-committee without joining the full School Council.  If you’d like to get involved, please let us know your area of interest - we value your contribution.

Meet our Councillors

In this edition we’d also like to introduce Suzanne Larkin. 

Hello, my name is Suzanne Larkin, and I am proud to serve on the School Council as Vice President.

With more than 25 years of experience in health and safety, including almost a decade working in emergency services, I have developed a strong foundation in governance, risk management, and community engagement.

One of the things I admire most about emergency services is the dedication and commitment of volunteers who generously give their time to support their communities. Joining School Council is my opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the community in which I live and to help support positive outcomes for our students.

I currently chair the Policy and Education Subcommittee, where I work alongside council members and school leaders to review and develop policies that support the school's strategic direction and educational goals whilst ensuring adherence to the Departments requirements. Parent and family perspectives are an important part of this process, and I strongly value the contribution our school community makes in helping shape effective and inclusive policies.
