PDHPE Faculty 

The PDHPE Faculty would like to congratulate all students on a fantastic 2023. We have some seen a lot of achievements this year, many opportunities for students and a lot of fun had along the way. 

There were many team sports and knockout competitions occurring during the year and as a PDHPE Faculty we are proud of everyone who represented Henry Kendall High School in team or individual sports as well as the students who excelled at State and National level, in their respective areas. 

We saw the successful running of our gym program, and this is something that we are extremely proud of as a faculty. Seeing students turn up each week to push themselves to their limits, create positive friendships and prioritise their physical health, makes us very proud as a faculty. In another positive, recently we have had successful installation of a cable machine in our school gym and this is something we are all very excited to begin using in 2024.

We had some other positives along the way, including the Zone Sport Gala Day and our ever-popular dance unit. We are super proud of all students’ achievements within both of these areas and we can’t wait to get back into these areas in 2024. 

To conclude the year, we finished with the annual Presentation Evening on Tuesday 12 December 2023. We had many recipients during the night, and all were worthy of the recognition for some fine achievements throughout the year. 

Overall, we are extremely proud of all the students in all our classes from Stage 4 to Stage 6. You have all pushed yourself this year and have aimed to be the best version of yourself. 

We wish all students and their families a merry Christmas and safe and happy holidays. We can’t wait to work with you again in 2024!
