Darwinia House

Hi everyone! Our names are Chandarik and Shreya, and we are incredibly proud to be your Darwinia House Captains for 2026. 

We want to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone in Darwinia for placing your trust in us. It really means a lot, and we are committed to making this year one that our House can be proud of.

The first event we had the honour of hosting this year was the Year 7 Darwinia vs Callistemon dodgeball competition, which ended in a tie! Both Year 7s were awesome, full of energy and determination, and they didn’t back down even when playing against teachers. Their teamwork, effort, and enthusiasm really stood out, and it’s the kind of attitude we hope to see throughout the year in Darwinia.

One of our biggest goals this year is to see more people taking part in all House events, from Athletics to Chorals and everything in between. We’re especially excited for the Swimming Carnival this term, which includes both swimming and land events like basketball. We encourage everyone to join in, whether it’s a land sport, a swimming event, or cheering on your friends. Every bit of participation counts, and the more of us who get involved, the stronger Darwinia becomes as a house.

We’re really excited for everything ahead and can’t wait to see what we can achieve together in 2026.
