Callistemon House

Hey everyone! We are Ishita and Ruby, Callistemon House Captains.

Being the House Captain is a great way to help our fellow Callistemon students and make sure that everyone feels welcome, included, and supported. We want to bring our House closer together by planning fun activities, encouraging students to take part in school events and ensuring every student feels welcomed, valued and proud to be part of Callistemon. We want to build on the strong spirit of our House and make this year fun, memorable, and full of connections for everyone. 

We are especially excited to be organising a dodgeball event for our Year 7 students between Callistemon and Darwinia in Week 6. This will be a fantastic way for our newest members of our House to have fun, make friends, and feel welcomed into the House.

With the Swimming Carnival coming up soon, we encourage everyone to get involved and represent Callistemon and show Callistemon’s spirit and pride. Callistemon did an amazing job at the Swimming Carnival last year, showing great teamwork, energy, and Callistemon spirit. Your enthusiasm and participation makes a big difference whether you are competing in the pool, cheering from the sidelines, or supporting your friends. The Swimming Carnival is always a fun and exciting event, and it is a great chance for us to show our teamwork, enthusiasm, and House pride. Let’s give it our all and aim for another great result in 2026!
