Hakea House

Hello everyone, we are Sahar and Lulzim, your 2026 Hakea House Captains, and we are incredibly proud and excited to represent Hakea this year. 

We’re looking forward to the challenges, achievements, and memories that lie ahead, and most importantly, to making Hakea feel like more than just a team colour, we want it to feel like a home.

Our main goal for 2026 is to make this year truly memorable for every student. We want Hakea to be a place where everyone feels included, supported, and connected. In Week 3, we hosted a Year 7 Dodgeball Tournament to help our newest students build friendships, step outside their comfort zones, and feel welcomed into the Hakean community. This is just the beginning of many opportunities we hope to create throughout the year.

We value every student’s voice, which is why we have set up a suggestion board. We encourage everyone to share their ideas and feedback so we can continue improving and shaping Hakea together. Another important goal of ours is to positively change how people perceive school. One day, these moments will become memories, so let’s make them count!

We are also incredibly grateful for our 2026 SRC team. Their leadership, ideas, and dedication help us understand what students want and allow us to create meaningful opportunities for everyone to connect and get involved. A huge congratulations to our Hakea SRC representatives: Hania (H7), Hamidullah (H8), Trinity (H9), Justin (H10), Diya (H11), and Abulfazul (H12). We are proud to work alongside such a committed team.
