Melbourne Victory
On the 28th of February, the DHS Melbourne Victory Girls Program attended an excursion at the Home of the Matildas in Bundoora. The Year 7, 8 and 9 students had the opportunity to observe the A League Women’s training session, followed by a presentation, team building activities and a Q&A with the A League Women’s players. To conclude the afternoon, students had the opportunity to engage in a training session of their own, developing their soccer skills and building connections within the group. The excursion was an excellent way to begin the 2026 Melbourne Victory Program, and we look forward to seeing the development and successes in the year ahead.

Senior Boys Volleyball
Well done to the 2026 Senior Boys Volleyball team for their effort at the Greater Dandenong Division Interschool Competition! They were able to win all but one of their matches and as a result they placed 3rd overall on the day. They demonstrated hard work and dedication, working together as a team and supporting each other in every match. The team prepared for the event by attending training sessions during Term 4 2025 and in the weeks leading up to the event. Through this practice they were able to hone their skills and develop their technique with the support of their coach, Mr Kafrouni. The team has demonstrated a strong commitment to their sport and although not overall victors on the day, it is clear to see that their efforts have paid off.
Well done to all members of the 2026 Senior Boys Volleyball team, you have represented the school well and should be very proud of your efforts!

Their resilience and ability to stay composed under pressure were evident in every match.
