Camp
We are incredibly excited for our upcoming camp to Waratah Bay from April 20th–22nd! This is always a highlight of the year and promises to be a fantastic experience filled with fun, challenge, and teamwork. A reminder that if your child has any dietary requirements, you must complete the included Google Form as soon as possible to ensure all needs are catered for. A packing list has been sent home with students and one has also been sent out on Sentral. Please take the time to check it carefully and ensure your child has everything they need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. If your child will not be attending camp, please let us know as soon as possible, as cabin allocations and activity group planning are well underway. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Carrum Downs Excursion
Our Grade 6 students recently visited Carrum Downs Secondary College for an exciting excursion where they had the opportunity to experience a range of high school classes. Throughout the day, students got to try Science, PE, Food Technology, and Drama, giving them a real taste of what secondary school learning is like. They embraced each activity with enthusiasm, demonstrating curiosity, teamwork, and a willingness to try new things. The excursion provided a valuable glimpse into high school life and helped students feel more confident and prepared for the transition ahead.
Youth Leadership Conference
Twelve of our student leaders recently travelled by train into the city for an exciting and highly interactive experience at the Youth Leadership Conference, accompanied by Ms Grant. Throughout the day, they had the opportunity to connect with student leaders from other schools, sharing ideas and building new friendships. They were also inspired by a range of impressive guest speakers, including young politician Charlotte Walker and AFLW superstar, Maddy Prespakis, who spoke about leadership, resilience, and making a positive impact. It was a fantastic experience that left our students feeling motivated and empowered in their roles as school leaders.
