Wear It Purple Day – Friday, 29t August
On Friday 29th August, our school community proudly celebrated Wear It Purple Day. Students had the option to dress in purple to show their support for inclusion, respect, and diversity within our school and beyond.
Throughout the day, we spoke with students about the importance of creating a community where everyone feels safe, valued, and accepted for who they are. Wear It Purple Day is a reminder that small actions—such as standing up for others, showing kindness, and respecting differences—help build a culture of belonging where every individual can thrive.
It was wonderful to see so many students enthusiastically taking part, wearing purple and engaging in meaningful conversations about how we can all contribute to a more inclusive school environment. Days like this strengthen our collective commitment to ensuring that respect and acceptance are at the heart of our NMPS values.
