Here is an update on what we have been doing

Students from Grades 3–6 have been busy over the past few weeks preparing for our upcoming Arts Festival next term. Each student selected their favourite artwork created so far this year to be displayed. They then learned how to frame and mount their chosen piece, adding an extra sense of ownership and pride to their work. To accompany their framed artworks, students also created mini self-portraits, adding a personal touch to the exhibition. The process was hands-on, creative, and exciting, with many students expressing how proud they felt seeing their artwork beautifully presented and ready for display.

Grade 6 students have also recently completed their vibrant Coral Reef projects, inspired by the beauty and fragility of our oceans. Throughout this unit, students explored different artistic techniques to bring their reefs to life. The finished pieces are stunning, combining paint and thread in unique and creative ways. We invite you to view and enjoy these artworks, and take a moment to reflect on the wonder of our reefs.
