Building Project

The past few months have been all about what's underground — and its good news. After some early technical checks on the soil, our engineers refined the building's foundation design to make sure everything is built on solid ground. Piling work (drilling the deep foundation supports) began in mid-August. 

Despite the minor delays due to groundworks and the winter weather, works onsite have been underway and very soon we anticipate seeing the building structure taking shape.

As part of the works, our team took the opportunity to review the kitchen floor plan to make sure it will properly support our future cooking and hospitality curriculum. This included selecting new appliances (including a commercial exhaust rangehood) suited to real classroom use. It's a small addition to the original scope, but one that will make a real difference for students learning in that space.

The building team have been working together diligently to ensure that each step and decision is made will create the optimal home for our students.
