Bunnings Teen Trade Program

PRC students had the opportunity to participate in the Bunnings Teen Trade Program at Bunnings Mill Park, gaining practical skills through a range of hands-on activities.

Students learned how to safely use a variety of hand tools while completing their own woodworking projects. Each student built a birdhouse, as well as their choice of either a tray table or spice rack. The program provided a great opportunity for students to develop practical skills, confidence and independence while creating something they could be proud of.

Students also worked collaboratively to pot a range of plants, which will be sold at the Whittlesea Market with funds going to charity. This activity encouraged teamwork while giving students experience working towards a shared project with a real-world outcome.
