Bunnings Fundraiser & Biggest Morning Tea

As part of their community engagement project and applied learning, PRC students volunteer once a week at the Mernda Bunnings Sausage Sizzle. Each class rotates weekly with some students volunteering consecutively.

Not only do our students get to participate in a classic Aussie staple, but they also gain valuable experience in customer service, money handling, inventory management and food preparation. For our students who are 18, they have the opportunity to cook the snags themselves!

The revenue from the sausage sizzle contributes to various donations made by PRC, such as the Biggest Morning Tea which raised over $3000 for cancer research.
